The Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential is highly sought-after and respected in the international trade industry.
The Strategic International Trade Institute offers LIVE online training via zoom that will offer a comprehensive introduction to international trade and prepare you to sit for the CGBP Exam.
The Program - ONLINE LIVE
This training is designed in one hour webinar style training to enhance learning without overwhelming the student with too much information or requiring that you sit through it all in a couple of days. As such, this course is taught over several weeks with live online zoom learning every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Evenings from 6pm - 7pm EST and Saturday mornings from 9am-10am. All sessions are recorded so if the student has to miss one (or two.....although not recommended), or needs to review the material again, they will have access to all recordings through the June test window. The program will cover all 4 domains in the NASBITE Practice Delineation areas of the exam and is taught by a CGBP professional and Certified CGBP Trainer. Topics include:
- Global management
- Global marketing
- Global supply chain
- Global Trade finance

All information with zoom links and dates will be sent to participant after registration. Course Starts on Tuesday April 7th and will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evening from 6pm-7pm EST and Saturday mornings from 9am - 10am EST with course ending on May 21st.

The Instructor
Kellie Greene
Kellie Greene currently serves as a certified senior business advisor with the NY SBDC helping startups, growth-stage companies, and established companies build scalable, profitable strategies for both domestic strength and international expansion.
Kellie brings extensive leadership experience in domestic and global supply chain management, international business strategy, and manufacturing alignment. She has directed end-to-end transportation strategy, production planning integration, inventory optimization, regulatory compliance, and distribution network development across multiple markets. Her expertise bridges U.S.-based operational infrastructure with global market entry strategy—ensuring companies build strong operational foundations before scaling internationally.
In addition to her corporate and advisory work, Kellie is an accomplished entrepreneur, having owned and operated multiple businesses including a career services firm, a travel agency, and a global trade consulting practice. This entrepreneurial experience gives her a practical understanding of risk management, cash flow realities, marketing strategy, and the discipline required to scale sustainably. She is also skilled in marketing strategy and social media positioning, helping businesses strengthen brand visibility and reach both domestic and international audiences.
Kellie is a skilled trainer and educator. She teaches the Fast Track entrepreneurial course for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and is a certified trainer for the Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and webinars, where she presents on a variety of topics including global trade strategy, supply chain resilience, export compliance, and operational excellence.
She holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University. She is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified through LeanCor, and serves as Treasurer on the NASBITE International Board of Governors. She is also an active member of the Upstate New York District Export Council.
Kellie’s approach is strategic, systems-driven, and execution-focused. She believes operational excellence is the backbone of sustainable growth and that international expansion must be built on disciplined planning, financial clarity, and compliance strength.
